The Great American Bash

-HBK's theme hits the p.a system. The crowd cheers. HBK walks out on the stage. He's dressed in a black suit. He has his hair back in a ponytail. He smiles as he looks around the crowd. HBK walks down the ramp toward the ring.-

Lillian: Ladies and Gentlemen. Please welcome. The Heart Break Kid! Shawn Michaels!

-The crowd cheers. HBK walks down to ringside and he climbs the steel steps. HBK stands on the top step and he looks out into the crowd. He raises his arms in the air and he claps his hands. HBK then climbs into the ring. HBK walks around the ring. He claps his hands. HBK walks up to the bottom right turnbuckle and he climbs it. He smiles as he looks out into the crowd. He raises his arms in the air and he claps his hands. HBK climbs down and he turns to Lillian. HBK walks up to Lillian. She hands him her mic. HBK takes it and he jogs around the ring. Lillian leaves the ring. HBK continues to jog around the ring. The crowd cheers. HBK stops near the top right turnbuckle and he looks out into the crowd. HBK's music fades. The crowd chants HBK HBK HBK. HBK walks out into the center of the ring. He raises the mic. The crowd continues to chant HBK HBK HBK. HBK lowers the mic and he looks around the crowd. He smiles. HBK raises the mic.-

HBK: Thank you. Thank you.

-The crowd begins to settle.-

HBK: Thank you.

-HBK lowers the mic as he walks around the ring. He smiles as he looks out into the crowd. He raises the mic.-

HBK: Heck of a main event a few weeks ago wasn't it?

-The crowd cheers.-

HBK: Chris Benoit was this close.

-HBK holds up his hand and he shows an inch between his fingers.-

HBK: But..Benoit should have known. Like all of you people...

-HBK pauses for a few seconds.-

HBK: The Heart Break Kid doesn't go down without a fight!

-The crowd cheers.-

HBK: Now I'll admit. That was the most pain I've felt in a very long time. The Crossface. It truly is a crippler. I wanted to give up and tap as soon as he locked it in but I didn't. I fought my way over to the ropes. Benoit had to break the hold and the next thing he heard was Sweet Chin Music.

-The crowd cheers.-

HBK: Now I'm on my way to the Great American Bash with a World Heavyweight Title shot.

-The crowd cheers.-

HBK: But. But hold on here a second. It turns out that...Someone else has managed to weasel his way into the match. It was supposed to be just me and Kane. Now its a triple threat match. Not only that but its a street fight!

-The crowd cheers. HBK looks into the camera.-

HBK: Batista. You as well as I know you shouldn't be in this match. Now that you are. You and Kane both are going to be hearing the same tune and I promise both of you. I will walk out of the Great American Bash. The NEW! World...Heavyweight...Champion.

-HBK drops the mic as he stares into the camera. His theme music hits the p.a system. HBK says "I will walk out with that belt! I will!" HBK climbs the bottom right turnbuckle and he poses. The crowd cheers. HBK climbs down and he rolls from the ring. He walks up the ramp. The camera fades.-

End.
